相信大家之前对托福改革后的口语考察形式都已经有所耳闻,而其中的Interview题目相信很多同学都会有一种似曾相识的感觉,认为这就是独立口语pro max版本,那今天就让我们一起来看看interview 题目有哪些可以直接完美迁移之前的方法论,又有哪些和之前的解题思路大有不同。

首先让我们看一套官方给出的题目,来感受一下出题规律和对应的破解方法~

Thank you for taking the time to speak with me. I’d like to ask you some questions about your exercise habits.

托福口语第一题:

What kinds of exercise do you or your friends like? For example, do you like running, swimming, yoga, or other types?

大家可以感受出来这道题的重点问的更多是个人的经历和偏好,和之前的独立口语偏论述型的提问方法差别还是很大的。但是我们如果随心所欲地自由回答,比如只说自己喜欢的运动类型,肯定也是没法对话题进行有效延伸的。因此面对这种“唠家常式”的话题,也要遵循固定的框架进行展开,比如我们可以给自己设定一个“观点-原因-细节”的框架。

观点:喜欢的运动
原因:喜欢该项运动的原因(强身健体,结交更多朋友,平静心情等……)
细节:喜欢该运动的表现(一周固定几次进行这种运动,不做该运动的时候十分想念,做的时候非常沉浸……)

举例来说:如果我们选择【跑步】:

Well, my favorite exercise is running.

It's a great stress reliever. Whenever I feel pressured by studies or daily chores, running helps me calm my mind and let go of worries.

I stick to running 3 to 4 times a week, usually in the evening at a nearby park. I genuinely miss it if I have to skip a session as it has already become a necessary part of my routine. When I run, I focus on my breathing and the surrounding scenery, totally immersing myself. This not only keeps me fit but also leaves me feeling refreshed and ready to tackle challenges.

托福口语第二题:

When you exercise, do you prefer to do it alone or do you like to exercise with other people? Why?

来到第二题能够明显感受到话题的讨论已经逐渐远离了单纯的描述,论述的含量逐渐增加。且这道题目与改革前传统托福考试中口语的preference类型式非常相近的,之前有备考经验的同学一定了解这道题目我们可以采用对比论证的方法来构建一个两个理由的回答,充实内容。

比如这道题提问的重点是喜欢独处还是喜欢和人一起运动。由于大多数运动都需要很多人的参与,且如果包含了别人的话可以将话题向社交方向引导,因此建议大家选择“with other people”。

那按照对比论证的技巧,我们此时可以强调和别人一起运动的优点,同时指出一个自己独自运动的缺点。

和人一起的优点:得到指导,精进技术
自己一人的缺点:觉得无聊,没有动力

Well, I definitely prefer to exercise with other people rather than alone.

Frankly, I’m not so self-disciplined and can easily lose my motivation halfway and end up quitting early. However, when I’m with someone else, we can encourage each other to keep it on.

What’s more, exercising with others can allow me to get professional guidance. My friends with more experience can correct my wrong postures, helping me refine my skills.

This not only keeps me from feeling sluggish but also makes my progress much faster than when I exercised alone. It’s more effective and enjoyable this way.

托福口语第三题:

In the past, most people exercise outdoors but now many people prefer indoor gyms and fitness centers. Do you think that in the future, indoor gyms will become even more popular? Why or why not?

第三题的难度直线上升,话题已经脱离了个人生活范畴,指向了社会层面,并且要求我们预测未来的趋势。这个时候我们可以从两个角度去尝试切入。

首先,既然是预测趋势,那我们就要判断出未来和现在会有什么差别吗?

未来可能:绿地进一步减少,生活节奏加快,科技发展,污染增多……

可以通过客观环境的变化来推理某一件具体事物的走向。

具体来说,如果绿地进一步减少,人们是否会更加珍惜和大自然相处的机会?污染增多的话,人们也许会选择室内环境来避免受到污染的伤害?

其次我们也可以来分析一波室内健身房的特点,它是如何优于户外锻炼,比如说:四季恒温,不受极端天气影响,能够提供对某一些肌肉更加针对性的训练等等。

Yes, I firmly believe indoor gyms will become even more popular in the future.

First, they solve the biggest downside of outdoor exercise, which is being affected by extreme weather. Whether it’s hot summers, freezing winters, or rainy days, indoor gyms offer a constant temperature, letting people work out comfortably anytime.

Besides, they provide targeted training that outdoor exercise cant match. With professional equipment and trainers, people can focus on specific muscle groups like the core or shoulders, making workouts more efficient.

As the number of indoor gyms grows, it’ll be easier for people to fit workouts into their busy schedules. These advantages will definitely attract more people to choose indoor gyms over outdoor exercise in the future.

托福口语第四题:

Some people believe that exercising regularly is essential for developing self-discipline. Do you agree with this idea, or do you think there are other activities that can also help build self-discipline?

Interview回合的大boss就这样水灵灵地登场,现在既不聊个人也不谈社会直接开始搞抽象了。

抽象的问题就要具体地解决,题目问规律锻炼能否培养一个人的自律性,那么问题来了,何为自律呢?

也就是说,如果我们符合了某几项具体的标准,就证明我们是“自律人士”了。那大家不妨设身处地地想一想,如果我们想树立一个自律人设,在哪些方面发力呢?

比如,我有坚韧不拔的毅力风雨无阻去健身房,我有超强的时间管理能力留出空闲时间锻炼,我目标明确有一个详细的训练计划来依照等等……

这么一看是否觉得坚持锻炼对培养自律性还是相当重要的?

I totally agree that regular exercise is essential for building self-discipline.

Even when someone is exhausted or the weather is bad, if he can push himself to show up, this will train him to stay committed to goals.

Also, doing exercise regularly can help people develop strong time management skills to carve out free time from their busy schedules, balancing studies and workouts.

Moreover, if people are able to follow a detailed training plan with clear targets, like increasing weights or extending running time, this can teach them to focus and see tasks through.

In short, regular exercise is a powerful way to foster self-discipline, as it demands consistency, time management, and goal-oriented action.
