突破2000词汇第七期来啦，本期的主题是Feelings（人物感受）！

本系列English Vocabulary in Use将和大家分享剑桥英语官方初级词汇的内容，适用于A2高级段和B1初级段的小朋友们，帮助小朋友们轻轻松松突破2000词汇量！

Emotion和Feeling(s)用来描述人对某事某物的强烈感受，比如说：love, hate or anger. Emotion也可以看做是我们性格的一种哦，比如：Timothy is a very emotional（感性的；情绪丰富的）person. Feeling在被使用时，常常以复数形式feels出现，比如：She doesn’t like talking about her feelings.

今天就和小厚一起来看看常见的表达情绪的词汇都有什么吧~

A

angry：生气的，愤怒的

She was angry with her friends for not asking her out.

annoyed：恼怒的，烦闷的

I was annoyed with myself for having so quickly and mindlessly lost thirty dollars.

anxious：焦虑的，担忧的

There were a few anxious moments in the baseball game

C

confused：困惑的，混乱的

I’m sorry I forgot your birthday, I was confused about the dates.

curious：好奇的

They were very curious about the people who lived upstairs

cheerful：愉快的

He’s amazingly cheerful considering all he’s had to go through.

confident：自信的

I’m confident that we can find a solution to this problem.

D

depressed：沮丧的

After he failed his English exam, he was depressed for a week.

delighted：高兴的，令人愉快的

I’m delighted that I got the job. It’s just what I always wanted.

disappointed：失望的

She was disappointed by her son’s poor results at school.

E

excited：兴奋的

I’m excited by the new opportunities that the internet brings.

emotional：感性的，情绪丰富的

When he heard the news, he became quite emotional.

embarrassed：尴尬的，窘迫的

I felt so embarrassed that I went bright red.

F

frightened：害怕的

As a child she was frightened of the dark.

H

happy：快乐的

She was happy to hear the good news.

horrified：惊骇的

I’m horrified by the amount of violence on television today.

J

jealous：嫉妒的

She was jealous of her sister’s new toy.”

M

miserable：凄惨的，悲惨的

I spent a miserable weekend alone at home.

P

proud：自豪的，得意的

He’s proud of his dog.

S

sad：难过的，悲哀的

It makes me sad to see all those animals in cages at the zoo.

scared：害怕的

Are you scared of heights?

stressed：紧张的

I feel really stressed from school – I need a break.

T

terrified：非常害怕的，极度恐怖的

He’s terrified of spiders and screams whenever she sees one.”

U

upset：心烦的，混乱的

I’m sorry you’re upset，I didn’t mean to be rude.

unhappy：不快乐的

I was unhappy to hear that I didn’t pass the exam.

颜色

在英语语境中，颜色有时也会用来表示情绪哦：

RED, can make us feel energetic(有活力的)，but it can also indicate anger(愤怒的).

PINK, though, is softer and more about maternal love and caring for(关心他人的) people.

GREEN, is associated with nature and is good for people feel relaxed(轻松的).

BLUE, especially dark blue can make us depressed(沮丧的).
