Home and Room

阅读下文中家庭的居住变化，了解一下home都有哪些类型吧~

When we first got married, we lived in a one-bedroom flat（一居室） with a small kitchen（厨房）, a living room（起居室） and a bathroom（浴室）. When our first child was born, she had to share our bedroom. Now we live in a four-bedroom house（四居室）. Our bedroom has an en-suite bathroom（卧室中的浴室）, our two teenage children have their own rooms, we have a spare room（空房；客房）for guests, and another bathroom.

Downstairs, there’s a living room, a dining room（餐厅） and a study（书房）. We’ve also got a lovely big kitchen. Next to it, there’s a small utility room（杂物间） where we keep the washing machine.

注：Rug和carpet都有地毯的意思。Rug通常指的是小一点的地毯，如门垫、浴室垫等。Carpet指的是相对大一点的地毯，如铺满整个房间的地毯。
